K. Chipp McCrea
Chipp graduated from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Business Administration in 1992 and graduated from UNB Law School at Ludlow Hall in 1994. Admitted to the New Brunswick Bar in 1995, Chipp will have practiced law in the Fredericton area for twenty-five years in 2020. Before obtaining his university degrees, Chipp worked in management in the hospitality industry and then in the family business for several years, and thus gained practical experience that he can apply to his client’s issues.
As a litigator Chipp has appeared before the Provincial Court, Court of Queen’s Bench - Trial, Probate Family Divisions, and the New Brunswick Court of Appeal. Having experience in all general practice areas of law, Chipp now focuses his practice on the areas of Family Law, Corporate and Business Transactions, Real Estate Transactions, Wills and Estates, and Estate Litigation. Chipp is trained in collaborative law techniques and specifically brings this approach to his family law practice. He invites family law clients to discuss with him if collaborative law might be a viable option for their circumstances.
Chipp is a member in good standing of the Canadian Bar Association, the New Brunswick Law Society, and the York Sunbury Law Society.
Chipp enjoys various sports and coached minor hockey and baseball in the Fredericton area. He is an avid musician and enjoys to playing the trumpet and guitar and singing in his church choir.
